What You'll Do Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and support a team of veterinary professionals Foster employee engagement, accountability, and professional growth Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention initiatives Conduct performance coaching and support team development Partner with ownership to maintain a positive, collaborative culture Hospital Operations Oversee daily hospital workflow and operational efficiency Manage staffing schedules and resource allocation Ensure exceptional client service standards are consistently maintained Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence Support implementation of hospital initiatives and strategic goals Financial & Business Management Monitor key performance indicators and hospital performance metrics Assist with budgeting, expense management, and operational planning Partner with ownership on strategic initiatives and growth opportunities Support inventory management, purchasing, and vendor relationships Help drive profitability while maintaining high standards of patient care and client service Client Experience Champion a culture of exceptional customer service Address and resolve client concerns professionally and effectively Ensure clients feel welcomed, informed, and valued throughout their experience What We're Looking For 3+ years of veterinary practice management experience preferred Strong leadership and team development skills Experience managing staffing, scheduling, and employee performance Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution, and coaching abilities Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills Financial acumen and experience working with practice metrics preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with both hospital leadership and ownership A positive, solutions‑oriented mindset and a desire to help teams succeed What Makes This Opportunity Different Privately owned veterinary hospital with engaged ownership AAHA‑accredited practice committed to excellence in patient care Fear Free‑focused culture Established client base and strong community reputation Tenured team with a collaborative work environment Opportunity to influence hospital operations and future growth Leadership team that values communication, transparency, and partnership Compensation & Benefits Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience Bonus opportunity available Medical insurance with substantial employer‑paid contribution Dental and vision insurance options Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) with employer match Continuing education and professional development support Employee pet care benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr East Louisville Animal Hospital
