We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Restoration Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. This is not a typical body shop or collision repair center, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the best craftsmen in the field, so please bring an open mind, if you have worked in a regular body shop before, this will be a different setting. We are a quality oriented shop. We take pride in our work. Experience in the field is not required however, helpful. Only a willingness to learn new skills, and a drive for excellence. Our award winning team, will teach you everything you need to know.
In this role, you will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition and, better, with precision and care. Your expertise in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, welding, some mechanical, and vehicle maintenance will ensure that every vehicle meets our high standards of quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of high quality restoration projects, utilizing your technical skills and passion for automotive repair to deliver exceptional results. Work week Mon - Fri with optional overtime 1/2 day Saturday at time and a half

Shift 7:00 am to 4:00 pm With 1 hour lunch from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment to restore vehicles to factory specifications.
• Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair or fabricate sheet metal components.
• Operate power tools and hand tools efficiently to strip, sand, and prepare vehicle surfaces..
• Assist with auto restoration projects by fabricating custom parts and performing detailed assembly work.
• Maintain mechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance tasks related to body repairs and overall vehicle health.
• Ensure all repairs meet dealership or industry standards while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair progress clearly and professionally.
• Keep detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and estimated timeframes for each project.

Qualifications

• Previous history with preforming small repair task, preferred, prior body shop or Restoration shop experience not required
• Ability to actively listen, and interpret complex directives, and consistently execute tasks to exact specifications.
• Must be able to read safety and instruction manuals and legibly complete daily paperwork, work orders and supply logs
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, regularly
• Must be able to stand, walk, and remain on feet for up to an 8-hour shift
• Ability to learn and adapt to new projects and our procedures.
