Seeking CAREGIVER for a senior client with dementia needing companion care.

• Do you have previous Caregiving experience? Have you cared for a loved one or are you a CNA, HHA, PCA, DSP?
• Can you pass a criminal background check and drug test?
• Do you have a valid Driver's License with a reliable vehicle and insurance?

Job Description – Senior Caregiver Seniors Helping Seniors Central Oklahoma (SHS) brightens the lives of seniors who can benefit from a helping hand and a friendly smile. Our caregivers, who are seniors themselves (aged 40+), make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort our care receiver's home.

SHS empowers seniors to continue to live independent lives by taking care of day-to-day tasks that become more challenging as seniors age.

This mutually beneficial and enriching relationship provides both the caregiver and the recipient a way to give and receive®. Qualifications:

• Enjoy working with our senior population
• Be a caring, empathetic, compassionate and reliable individual
• Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan
• Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job
• Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by SHS
• Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been completed

Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include:

• Assist with light housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc…
• Shopping and errands
• Medication reminders
• Overnight supervision
• Incidental transportation to doctor's appointments, family or their favorite restaurant

Personal Care Duties may include:

• Assist with dressing
• Assist with feeding
• Assist with showering / bathing
• Mobility assistance
• Assist with toileting / incontinence
• Memory care
