At Desert Ready Mix we are always looking for operators with great work ethic and a friendly attitude. Loader Operator will operate a variety of equipment but primarily will be feeding a concrete batch plant with a loader. Job Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment in a clean, organized, and safe fashion.
• Observe all safety precautions and rules specified by federal, state, and Company regulations.
• Wear all PPE (hard hat, vest, safety glasses, work boots, etc.).
• Perform walk around inspection of assigned equipment (check oil, water, fuel, lights, tires, etc.).

Qualifications

• Must have reading, writing, and math skills.
• Concrete knowledge and experience preferred.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop or crouch. The employee is required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
