Litigation Associate - Securities Class Action
Job Title: Litigation Attorney - Securities Class Action
Location: Los Angeles, CA or San Diego, CA - open to strong hybrid/remote candidates
Compensation: $175K - $250K base plus performance-based bonus
Requirement: Litigation, Securities Class Action, Shareholder Class Actions, Corporate Fraud
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney with a focus on Securities Class Action to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in litigation related to securities fraud, class action lawsuits, and fiduciary duty cases. This position requires a deep understanding of securities law and the ability to navigate complex legal challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities - Represent clients in securities class action litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on relevant securities law and regulations
- Analyze and evaluate potential class action cases, including conducting investigations and evaluating evidence
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, ensuring the best possible outcomes
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary
- Advise clients on legal rights and obligations in relation to securities law
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California Bar or eligibility to waive in
- Minimum of 2-5+ years of experience in litigation, with a focus on securities law
- Strong understanding of class action procedures and fiduciary duty concepts
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Experience with corporate fraud cases is a plus
