About the Role

HQ Chiropractic is hiring a Medical Assistant to work side-by-side with our treating doctor, supporting patient visits and keeping the clinic running on schedule. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and want hands-on healthcare experience in a busy chiropractic practice, this role is built for you.

You will be the doctor's right hand during every patient encounter — assisting with documentation, patient flow, and treatment room support so the clinic runs smoothly and charts are complete by the end of each business day.

What You'll Do

• Assist the doctor during patient visits, including documenting encounters in the EHR (Eclipse)
• Update patient complaints, treatment details, and progress notes per the doctor's direction
• Ensure all daily encounters are closed and complete before end of day
• Move patients efficiently from check-in through treatment rooms
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and team members
• Flag incomplete information or patient concerns to the doctor or manager
• Follow all clinic procedures, HIPAA guidelines, and documentation standards

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under time pressure
• Comfort working on a computer and learning new software
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Reliable attendance and punctuality (this role keeps the doctor on schedule)
• Professional communication with patients and staff
• Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality

Preferred

• Prior medical assistant or healthcare clinic experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish — strongly preferred for our patient population
• Eclipse EHR experience (training provided)
• Certified Medical Assistant credential
