KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The clinic medical assistant job is to help make the medical operations run smoothly. This involves working daily with the Medical providers and Clinical Director, performing various clinic and lab tests as needed and being proficient with electronic medical records. The job also includes working directly with the Spanish speaking patients to include direct translation.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
The position requires intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching as well as lifting and supporting patients.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays, 8:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work frequently may be required as job duties demand.
TRAVEL
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
