We are looking for a skilled Legal Administrator/Legal Assistant to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with bilingual capabilities and a background in personal injury law. The role combines remote and on-site work, offering a flexible hybrid schedule with one day per week required in the office (near Sedalia).

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage medical record requests to support legal case preparation.
  • Perform e-filing tasks for Colorado State and Federal courts in compliance with regulations.
  • Respond to basic inquiries related to personal injury cases, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Assist in managing a caseload of approximately 55 active cases, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Support attorneys and paralegals with administrative duties and case-related tasks.
  • Maintain and organize legal files, ensuring efficient access to case documents.
  • Handle court filings and documentation in adherence to legal protocols.
  • Manage calendars and schedules for attorneys, tracking appointments and deadlines.
  • Utilize bilingual skills to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and enhance case management efficiency.
  • Bilingual Required. (both speaking and writing)
  • Proven experience as a Legal Administrator or Legal Assistant, preferably in personal injury law.
  • Proficiency in e-filing for Colorado State and Federal courts.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with legal file management systems and court filing procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in Spanish.
  • Knowledge of medical record request processes and related documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and onsite tasks.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
