Summary:

ABI Attachments is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Department Specialist to join our team onsite in Mishawaka, Indiana. This entry-level, full-time position is responsible for building strong relationships with existing customers through proactive follow-up calls regarding previous purchases, customer satisfaction, replacement part needs, and identifying future equipment or product opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys talking with customers, providing excellent service, and helping customers maximize the value of their equipment. This position also offers growth potential into a full-time sales role.

Basic Function:

This role serves as a key connection between the customer and ABIs product specialist/experts by identifying qualified sales opportunities and referring leads to the appropriate product specialist/expert for further consultation.

Activities & Responsibilities:

  • Contact existing customers by phone to follow up on previous purchases
  • Discuss customer satisfaction and overall product experience
  • Ask questions to uncover upcoming equipment or product needs
  • Recommend supplemental products or solutions that improve customer operations and equipment usage
  • Accurately document customer interactions and opportunities within company systems
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional communication
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer support teams as needed
  • Maintain consistent phone outreach throughout the workday

  • Affinity for and/or experience with agriculture, sports turf, and property management industries, along with equipment operation.
  • Must have unwavering integrity and positivity.
  • Must be emotionally intelligent, a humble contributor to group goals and company needs.
  • Must be a self-motivated and driven learner with a desire to grow and be developed.
  • Must be willing to participate in ongoing education.

Education & Experience: (add additional as needed)

  • Candidates should possess some post-secondary education, be a recent graduate, or have demonstrated relevant experience that provides the skills and knowledge necessary to perform the position successfully.
  • NetSuite experience is a plus

Physical Requirements: (add additional as needed)

  • Must have the ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be willing to work full-time, in-house.
  • Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
  • Ability to talk or hear to communicate with others via phone, in-person, and/or computer.
  • Ability to listen to customers/vendors/colleagues, problem solve, and respond accordingly.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Environmental Conditions & Travel:

  • The employee is exposed to an office environment with moderate noise as well as warehouse and manufacturing environments with moderate noise.
  • The employee is required to wear suitable Personal Protective Equipment while working in the warehouse or manufacturing environments.
