The Bryan County School System is accepting applications for a Speech Language Associate (SLA) vacancy for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate must meet all certification requirements in the appropriate field(s) of education (Speech Language Associate).
In addition to appropriate certification/licensure, Bryan County Schools desires candidates to have all required skills and abilities which include a thorough knowledge of speech and language development, communication disorders, and evidence-based intervention techniques for students with communication needs. Responsibilities include providing direct speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist; assisting with data collection; implementing IEP goals and documenting student progress; preparing and organizing therapy materials and activities; collaborating with teachers and staff to support students in classroom settings; and maintaining confidentiality while adhering to all district, state, federal, and professional standards.
