Position Summary We are hiring an effective, metric-focused Veterinary Practice Manager to lead operations, examine financial performance, and support team culture. This is a strategic leadership role for a confident, analytical manager who will drive growth, maintain compliance, and foster positive staff and client relationships. Ideal Candidate — Core Attributes Highly organized, efficient, and forwardthinking Analytical with advanced financial and market comprehension Strong communicator who can align teams and foster clarity Strategic thinker who can execute at a high level Unwavering integrity and ethical standards Strong emotional intelligence: relationshipfocused, selfaware, peopleaware Essential Qualifications Demonstrated financial acumen (budgeting, P&L, A/R,A/P, KPI analysis) and forecasting Solid understanding of veterinary industry operations and market dynamics Excellent oral and written communication, leadership, and conflictresolution skills 1-3+ years of practice management or progressive supervisory experience in veterinary/healthcare settings Key Responsibilities Lead nonclinical teams (reception, assistant, inventory), and recruit, train, evaluate, and manage those teams as needed Weekly team meetings, daily team assignments, oversight of team communication platform(s) (Slack) Oversee payroll, daily banking, A/R,A/P, fee schedules, monthly/quarterly financial analysis, and KPI reporting Ensure regulatory and ethical compliance (DEA, FDA, AVMA, NCVMB, Dept. of Labor, OSHA) Manage client escalations, gather client feedback, and support the team in client service development Participate in marketing and education efforts Oversee inventory, purchasing, vendor contracts, insurance, and Standard Operating Procedures; act as IT/operations point person Serve as a strategic partner to ownership on financial forecasting and business management Work alongside the leadership team to conceptualize and implement business development strategies and techniques What We Offer Competitive salary (commensurate with experience and certification)- $80,000-$85,000 Relocation support Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Potential for flexibility in work schedule for the right candidate Retirement plan with employer match Continuing education and professional development support Supportive team environment and opportunities for growth Location Carolina Equine Hospital is located in Browns Summit, just outside of Greensboro in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina, minutes from Winston‑Salem and High Point.
