Postdoctoral Position in Membrane Protein Biology & Ion Channel Physiology — Furukawa Lab, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL), New York
The Furukawa lab at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) is seeking an enthusiastic Postdoctoral Fellow to join our multidisciplinary team exploring the fundamental biology of membrane proteins and the physiology of ion channels. Our lab combines cutting-edge approaches in structural biology, biophysical techniques (e.g., electrophysiology), and neuroscience approaches to uncover how these essential molecular machines function in health and disease.
What We Do - Our research integrates a broad suite of state-of-the-art techniques, including:
CSHL provides outstanding scientific resources, including a Titan Krios 300 kV cryo-EM equipped with a K3–GIF detector, premier crystallography platforms, and exceptional facilities for FACS sorting, phage and yeast display, proteomics, genomics, transcriptomics, neuroimaging, light microscopy, and animal studies.
