Job Title : Front Desk Customer Service Representative (Part Time)

Reports to : General Manager/Assistant General Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Goldfish Swim School is seeking qualified applicants for a Front Desk Representative at our location in Braintree, MA .

Summary : Goldfish Swim School changes the lives of children ages 4 months through 12 years old by teaching life-saving swimming skills. And, acts as the first point of contact for potential and current Goldfish customers and as such is responsible for presenting a positive image for the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greets visitors and checks students in on the computer system.
• Discusses membership options with prospective families and register new students using effective sales techniques.
• Answers incoming phone calls and emails in a professional manner, direct inquiries and messages to the proper staff member.
• Assists members with purchases of merchandise and vending, including tuition collection and resolving account inquiries.
• Schedules and manages birthday/pool parties.
• Prepares student schedules for instructors and schedules private parties.
• Resolves customer concerns/complaints using a professional approach and follow-up.
• Provides occasional administrative support for management personnel, including the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
• Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Administers first aid when necessary.
• Fulfills other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
• One year of previous customer service and/or administrative office experience.
• One year of previous direct sales experience
• Intermediate computer skills required with knowledge using Microsoft Office.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• In-person and Phone Sales experience

Work environment: While performing this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.
