Microbiology Technician As a Microbiology Technician, you will follow established methodologies, perform microbiological analyses, and interpret sample data. You will document findings, solve analytical problems, and maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment. Responsibilities Follow appropriate methodologies and SOPs for sample analysis. Document activities and report results concisely and accurately. Solve analysis problems as needed. Interpret samples and data. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong computer skills with knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word. Multi-tasked, organized, and detail oriented. Proficient English verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well in a team and solve problems. Knowledge of laboratory work is helpful. Understand quality control requirements and maintain safe working conditions. High School Diploma and at least 8 credit hours of college-level science courses (or equivalent experience). Physical Demands Able to speak and hear clearly, sit or stand for 100% of an 8‑hour day, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motion. Dexterity in hands and fingers is required. Must be able to operate computer and other equipment, read reports, distinguish color and shade, have average vision, and withstand cold temperatures for at least 1 hour.
