Position Overview

The Medical Scribe at Santo Niño Health Center works closely with physicians during patient visits to accurately document medical histories, examinations, procedures, and treatment plans in the EMR system. By managing clerical and documentation responsibilities, the scribe enhances provider efficiency, patient flow, and overall clinic productivity. Bilingual proficiency in Armenian and/or Arabic is strongly preferred to support our diverse patient population.

This position is primarily based in Panorama City, with a schedule of three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Accompany physicians during patient visits to document medical histories, physical exams, procedures, diagnoses, discharge instructions, prescriptions, and follow-up plans.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain accurate medical record documentation within the EMR system.
• Transcribe and enter consultation findings and clinical data into appropriate EMR fields.
• Support clinic workflow by anticipating provider needs and assisting with administrative and clerical tasks.
• Participate in comprehensive training with a senior scribe.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the physician or clinic manager.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical scribing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems required; familiarity with eMDs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in Armenian and/or Arabic strongly preferred.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and professional.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
