Guirguis Law, a boutique Christian Law Firm that strives to succeed for the underrepresented and voiceless within our community, is desiring to add on an Immigration Attorney to handle both defensive and affirmative filings. Although we are a client focused firm, and as such, offer a variety of legal services to properly concentrate on best assisting the client overall and not just the problem, your focus will solely be in immigration related matters. Our other legal departments will work with you in collaboration to build upon securing the best service for the client if the client needs assistance in other practice areas. This is one of the joys in our firm, by His Grace a true essence and devotion to bettering those we serve with our legal knowledge.


Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work on all immigrant and non-immigrant visa matters 
  • Provide solutions and explain complex immigration concepts
  • Maintain highly organized case files 
  • Respond accurately and timely
  • Interact with various outside entities, including but not limited to clients, governmental agencies and officials, courts, corporations, and other law firms


About you

  • Travel may be required
  • Comprehensive knowledge and skill in fact gathering, problem analysis, and the interpretation of immigration laws, regulations and policies
  • Practical knowledge of the legal activities in order to assess case requirements and determine the legality of actions
  • Skill in recognizing the dimensions of a case, identifying information that is needed, and developing a recommendation or taking action that is consistent with program requirements and management objectives
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, relevant findings, and conclusions using appropriate language, legal reasoning, and organization of facts
  • Need to be kind, compassionate, and intelligent but not self-exalting
