Aeon for Ocean is a U.S.-based, volunteer run nonprofit founded by 7-year-old Aeon in Minnesota, to share knowledge about marine life, the oceans, and our role in protecting this planet.Our focus is on helping inland communities understand why the ocean matters and identify things they can do to protect the ocean. Through our Krill2Whale program and other initiatives, Aeon for Ocean is teaching kids they can save the World Ocean for eons!This is a volunteer position for U.S. residents only. We are seeking a HR Operations Excellence Manager who is responsible for driving continuous improvement and optimization of operational processes.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentifying and implementing process improvementsDrive the design and implementation of new business processesMonitor, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of new initiatives and processesProvide training and guidance to team members on new processes and how to identify improvement opportunitiesDevelop and implement operational excellence and quality improvement programsEstablish key performance metrics and dashboards for monitoring operational performanceFacilitate change managementEnsure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and operational standardsThe Successful Candidate Will Possess The Following Qualifications2-3+ years of experience in operational excellence, including experience in a lead or senior roleProven ability to think strategically and analyticallyStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to influence and drive change in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Google SuiteAbility to work collaboratively with a diverse team-oriented environmentPrior experience with a non-profit organization is preferredLocation within the 48 contiguous United StatesApplicants must also have the ability to attend periodic meetings conducted during regular business hours, and/or evenings and weekends, as needed, in the Central Standard (CST) Time Zone.Please Note – This is a volunteer position for U.S. residents only.
