Pay Range: $60,264.00 - $75,330.00 per year

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and for residency and fellowship training programs.This role ensures compliance with ACGME and other accrediting bodies, supports program leadership.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in medical education, healthcare, or academic settings
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Preferred:

  • Associate degree with relevant experience considered
  • Experience with ACGME-accredited programs strongly preferred

Essential Job Functions:

  • Program Administration
    • Maintain accurate resident/fellow records, files, and databases
    • Assist with resident onboarding, orientation, credentialing,
    • Assist with resident and fellow rotators onboarding
    • Assist with duty hour monitoring
    • Apply for NJ training permits for all residents
    • Prepare resident contracts
    • Assist with the Coordination of residents activities, i.e. parties, appreciation day, research day, graduation
    • Support Administrative Director with other assigned tasks
  • Financial & Administrative Support
    • Track educational funds, conference attendance, and reimbursement requests
    • Back up for residents payroll
