About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director or Vice President, Global Privacy to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive global privacy strategy. The successful candidate will be a senior leader with a J.D. degree and over 15 years of experience in privacy, data protection, legal, compliance, or risk management. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the organization's business activities involving personal data are conducted in an ethical manner and in full compliance with international laws, regulations, and industry standards. The Executive Director or Vice President, Global Privacy will also be responsible for fostering a culture of privacy-by-design across all business functions worldwide and will serve as a key advisor to the General Counsel and other senior executives on global privacy and responsible data use. Applicants for this role at the company should have a strong background in privacy, data protection, legal, compliance, or risk management, with a focus on driving global privacy strategy and governance. The position requires a candidate with a J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school or a law degree from a recognized institution in the E.U.
