First Coast Metalworks is a fast-growing fabrication and manufacturing company working across a wide range of projects—from architectural metalwork and gates to advanced robotic systems. We’re looking for someone who can own the front-end of our projects, from initial intake through procurement, and help us scale efficiently.

• Manage project intake , including receiving bid requests and organizing opportunities
• Review and interpret drawings, bid packages, and specifications
• Develop accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on project requirements
• Source and price materials, ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement
• Prepare detailed project quotes and proposals
• Coordinate material ordering and track lead times
• Build and maintain relationships with material suppliers and vendors
• Manage and maintain internal systems for estimating, quoting, and project tracking
• Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and leadership teams to ensure project success

• Experience in metal fabrication, machining, or a related manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience with estimating, quoting, procurement, or project coordination
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Comfortable working in a growing, evolving company where processes are being built

• Experience with ERP/MRP or estimating software
• Existing relationships with material suppliers
• Background in custom fabrication, job shops, or low-volume/high-mix production

• Must be able to pass a background check
