We are seeking an Entry Level Environmental Scientist / Geologist who is familiar with environmental work and is motivated to grow. Experience with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and basic scientific field work practices is preferred but not required. Applicants must demonstrate a desire to develop a full understanding of the importance of scientific integrity and ethical business practices. This position is a full-time, hourly position and pay will be based on education and experience. Flexible work hours and commitment to client needs are vital. Familiarity with the following is preferred, but not required:

• Air, soil, groundwater sampling, and other types of environmental work.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Geology, Biology, or a related field
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel locally
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Able to perform field work up to 90% of the time
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and adapt to changing tasks
• Strong communication skills with staff, clients, and contractors
• Commitment to maintaining safe work practices for self and others
• Ability to accurately document information (written and electronic)
• Physically able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs multiple times per day
