About REACH

River’s Edge Academy Charter School (REACH) is a public charter school serving students through a personalized, relationship-driven educational model. We believe every child learns differently and deserves access to a learning environment that supports their individual strengths, needs, and goals. Our school values strong partnerships with families, high expectations for students, and a whole-child approach to education.

The Evans Valley Campus offers a structured, community-centered learning environment where students receive individualized support, meaningful academic instruction, and opportunities to build confidence, responsibility, and a love of learning.

Why Evans Valley?

The Evans Valley Campus offers a unique opportunity to teach in a small, close-knit school community where relationships matter and every student is known by name. Our campus combines the structure and consistency of a traditional school setting with the flexibility and innovation of a personalized learning model and serves students in grades K-4 and has a four day school week.

Located in the beautiful Evans Valley region of Southern Oregon, our campus provides access to abundant outdoor learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom walls. Teachers are encouraged to incorporate nature-based learning, environmental education, field studies, project-based learning, and hands-on experiences that connect academic content to the world around students.

At Evans Valley, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Build meaningful relationships with students and families in a supportive community environment.
  • Teach in smaller class settings where individualized instruction is valued and encouraged.
  • Help students develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
  • Utilize outdoor spaces and local natural resources to enrich student learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team committed to student growth, belonging, and success.
  • Make a lasting impact on students who benefit from additional structure, connection, and personalized support.

If you are looking for a teaching position where you can know your students deeply, partner closely with families, and bring learning to life through both classroom and outdoor experiences, Evans Valley may be the perfect fit.
