Position Overview

Our client, a specialty dental office in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a qualified and motivated Dental Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about patient care and wants to work in a collaborative, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor and hygienists during surgical and clinical procedures
• Perform all aspects of instrument sterilization and operatory setup/breakdown
• Take dental impressions and diagnostic images (including x-rays and CBCT)
• Accurately create and present treatment plans
• Provide clear explanations of procedures and post-operative instructions to patients
• Support clinical administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Dental Assistant certification
• Radiology certification required
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Outstanding customer service and communication abilities
• Confidence in educating patients and explaining treatment
• Knowledge of dental coding (periodontics, oral surgery, and implants preferred)
• Experience with Eaglesoft dental software is a plus
• Dental assisting experience preferred, but we are willing to train a motivated and eager learner who demonstrates initiative and a passion for growth
