Data Entry Specialist (Financial Services)

Hiring 5 contractors to support a short-term data migration initiative within an FX operations team. This role is focused on transferring large volumes of payment instruction data from legacy spreadsheets into a centralized system of record.

This is a highly manual, operations-focused role requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.

Location: Charlotte, NC Uptown | Hybrid 3x/week

Contract Length: 3+ months (targeting May 18 start)

Rate: $30-33/hr

Interview Process: 1 round (30 mins)

Top Requirements:

1. Experience in high-volume data entry, operations, or administrative support
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
3. Comfortable working in Excel and repetitive, process-driven tasks
4. Ability to stay focused on manual work for extended periods of time
5. Reliable and consistent work style (low error rate)

Plusses:

1. Financial services or banking experience
2. Exposure to account maintenance, transactions, or client data
3. Experience working in structured, process-heavy environments

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Transfer data from Excel spreadsheets into internal systems
• Perform high-volume copy and paste of financial data
• Track progress and completion using Excel (color coding, status updates)
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of all data entered
• Follow structured processes and workflows for data migration
• Support backlog reduction efforts tied to legacy system cleanup
