Position Overview:

The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate information in company databases and systems. This role requires attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to data integrity. You’ll work closely with team members across various departments to ensure timely and accurate data handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately input data into company systems from various source documents
• Verify and correct data where necessary
• Maintain data confidentiality and integrity
• Regularly update and maintain database information
• Respond to data inquiries and requests promptly
• Perform routine data backups and file management
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless data flow

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
• Proven experience in a data entry or administrative role
• Strong typing skills (preferably 50+ WPM) with high accuracy
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data entry software
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
