THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • LIHTC housing compliance experience (other compliance experience considered)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective problem‑solving abilities

Coaching or mentoring experience, EIV certification, and strong reasoning abilities are preferred.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST

This full‑time, in‑office position offers schedule options of 7 am–4 pm , 8 am–5 pm , or 9 am–5 pm , Monday-Friday, with minimal travel to sites as needed.

As our Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist, you'll spend each day ensuring the accuracy and integrity of LIHTC compliance across 70+ Michigan properties. You'll review move‑ins, recertifications, and income changes, support a centralized compliance leader, and serve as a trusted guide for onsite teams. Your work keeps operations seamless, supports housing stability, and helps ensure every file, resident, and property remains fully compliant.
