Accounts Receivable Clerk

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented accounts receivable clerk with experience in general office duties, billing, accounts payable & receivable.

Duties include:

• Maintain an accurate aging report

• Process and manage payments received for aging accounts in compliance with financial policies and procedures

• Reconcile Accounts Receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted

• Make daily collection calls to facilitate payment of invoices

• Send monthly statements to customers with outstanding balances

• Reconcile deposit ledger in accordance with upcoming events

• Prepare and maintain approved direct bill list

• Interact with customers to resolve outstanding billing issues

• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices

• Conduct monthly credit meeting to review billing concerns

• Perform other duties as requested by management

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in accounting is preferred
• 1-3 years' experience in accounting or account receivable payable preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail and organization
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Proficiency with Enterprise account receivable system
• Epicor/Vantage knowledge a plus
